In 1997, Peggie Jones had a revolutionary idea: a subscription series presenting singer-song-writers (as well as some notables from various other genres) in the historic Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, California. It has proven to be a huge and unexpected success, every month.
I started shooting for Peggie at the third show, and now, well over one hundred shows later, I love it more than ever. See what I say about music in the Jazz gallery, pump it up a few notches, and you've got Sings Like Hell. This is good cake!
Aside from some big names, I also get to see, hear and shoot "the best music you've never heard"–new and emerging artists who normally wouldn't get the opportunity to play this kind of venue... before they become big!
