Here's a short video promoting DANCEworks 2011. Doug Elkins and his dancers arrived at the Lobero Theatre February 23th from New York City for a month-long residency. A new work choreographed by Doug, "Mo(or)town Redux," deconstructs Shakespere's "Othello," set to the music of Motown. It is being commissioned by SUMMERDANCE of Santa Barbara and the Lobero Theatre Foundation and will premiere March 18th & 19th. Regular updates appearing soon, including Flash Mob!
