The Lobero Theatre Foundation has a program which provides students from the schools of Santa Barbara with the chance to see top notch-artists perform, just for them–and they get out of school too! This is a quick "rough" edit of some footage I took before and during a knock-out show by Parsons Dance, followed by a Q & A and some reactions from the kids, who loved what they saw!
For documentary videos, part of the fun is shooting them unscripted and on the fly, and then going through the footage to find the moments that "click" – the takes are sort of like video snapshots, and while I'm shooting I have to keep in mind how they will end up being edited. Hope you get as much enjoyment watching as I did creating them.
