Opera Santa Barbara's Young Artist program brought 12 young singers from around the country to Santa Barbara for a six week residency in April & May, culminating in "Ode to Opera" featuring scenes from Gounod's "Roméo et Julliette," Verdi's "Falstaff," "Hamlet" by Ambroise Thomas, and other operas based on Shakespeare's plays.
