Jimmy Gamonet set "Estancia" on State Street Ballet to stirring music by Sylvestre Revueltas. I created this montage of slides with photos of Gauchos provided by the Argentine Embassy, along with one photo taken by me of Ta Ta, who narrated and performed in the ballet. It was projected larger than life on a scrim at the top of the show and the dancers were slowly revealed behind it as the last slide faded out. It was part of the wondeerful Tango & Molambo Festival, directed by Giséle Ben Dor.
